Meet Our Team
Our Motto: be excellent to each other
Macro Connect’s culture is built around a firm set of core values. We hire for and recognize one another for exemplifying the following:
- Honorable: we do what we say
- Inquisitive: life-long learners
- Relentlessly positive: because attitude matters
- Tenacious: when things get tough, we get tougher
- Meticulous: attention to detail is paramount
- Community-minded: a rising tide raises all ships!
Our MANAGEMENT Team
Meet the team in charge. Each one unique and (mostly) human in their own way.
Client Solutions Director
Miguel heads up our marketing and business development efforts, so that we can help as many schools and businesses as possible achieve breakthrough performance with technology. Miguel is also a slightly obsessed CrossFitter and CrossFit trainer, plays baseball on weekends (when it’s warm enough), and is on the board of Playworks MI.
Gordon oversees all service delivery and internal training for our Infrastructure, School Data, and Digital Learning practices. He enjoys a good game of basketball (beware the sharp elbows) and regularly donates his time to organizations like Living Water Community Church and Upwards Basketball.
Co-Founder, CEO, Visionary
Matt’s responsibilities include providing strategic direction and mentorship for the organization, as well as CIO-level services and leadership for our customers. Matt is an avid sailor, a co-owner of the historic Hunt Street Station, and a board member for both Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings and Detroit Passport to the Arts.
Co-Founder, Chief Technical Officer, Integrator
Kevin leads our internal research and development team, manages our internal technology, and provides Net Admin auditing services to our customers. He is also the inventor of your favorite sailing robot (MarkSetBot), co-owner of the historic Hunt Street Station, and a board member of the YMCA.
Finance and Human Resources Director
Doug is the go-to for all of our money and HR needs, as well as day to day management of our office space in Eastern Market. Doug frequents the Detroit Institute of Arts and is a member of the Detroit A.M. Rotary Club.
Co-Founder, Chief Mascot, Woof!
Casey immigrated to the United States from Mexico at a young age and made a name for herself as one of Macro Connect’s first employees. She witnessed and was a part of many, many years of steady growth by the organization until her passing in 2017.
